Non-Fashion Blogger Instagram Accounts I Love

October 13, 2017 2 Comments

Truth: I am on Instagram a lot each day. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right? Kidding! I follow a lot of other bloggers, because we're tight knit in the blogging community! I follow other random accounts as well though. Today I'm sharing five of my favorite accounts to follow on Instagram that have nothing to do with style blogging.

@WholesomeStartRD

Samina is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in Houston, TX. My favorite motto of hers is "All foods fit," because sometimes you just need that bowl of ice cream in the evening! I have recently started reading and learning more about intuitive eating, which is where I believe her motto comes from. Samina has a very realistic approach to food and nutrition, and overall wellness. She keeps it so real on her IG and her Insta stories. She practices what she preaches and I like that in a dietitian!

@OurVintageFarmhouse

Sarah on Our Vintage Farmhouse just needs to come over and decorate my place. She shares photos of her adorable home, a vintage farmhouse, including how she decorates her entire house. Sarah uses lots of white, distressed wood, natural hues, mixed metals in her home. I think it is safe to say she gives Joanna Gaines a run for her money. Yeah, I went there!

@DoggosDoingThings

It is no secret that I am a cat lady. My cats, Imogene and Sebastian, make lots of guest appearances on the blog. I have been begging Milton for a dog for a couple of years now, but we don't exactly have space in our one bedroom apartment. I get my dog fix through multiple dog accounts on Instagram, but Doggos Doing Things is THE funniest one. The captions are genius and hilarious 100% of the time. The bio reads "Bork bork, doggo does a thing". If you check out any of the accounts I mention today I guarantee you'll follow this one.

@KathyKuoHome

Another home account. I discovered this account when searching for home decor inspiration a while back. I didn't even realize it was a brand! I've never bought anything from the online store...yet. The imagery on the Insta account is ultimate home interior goals. Most photos include white, great, and other natural colors in home decor, furnishings, and lighting. Can you tell that I love white for a home?! The style is more contemporary that what I typically lean towards, but I think that is why I like it so much. Mix that with a little bit of Our Vintage Farmhouse and we have my dream home!

@KaylaItsines

If you have never heard of Kayla Itsines, you've clearly been living under a rock for the last few years. Kayla is an Australian fitness start and co-creator of the BBG workout programs. Her Instagram is a mix of selfies (fitspo), progress photos of people on her program, and the occasional healthy meal. This is one of my favorite fitness accounts because she shares videos of her exercise moves. I'll take any inspiration I can get when it comes to working out! Her moves are super easy to incorporate into my regular gym routine. Sometimes I even sneak them in between chores or during commercial breaks when I'm watching tv.
