Shop For A Cause: Helping Hurricane Harvey Victims

August 28, 2017 Comments Off on Shop For A Cause: Helping Hurricane Harvey Victims

I talk about shopping, a lot. If you feel the need to shop this week I want you to make it count. I challenge you to forgo the Starbucks coffee this week and donate that money or spend it on something that helps those in need.  Hurricane Harvey has affected millions of Texas in Houston and along the Gulf Coast.

Luckily, Milton and his family have remained safe and dry in Galveston. The island did not receive the devastating winds and rainfall that other areas of Texas are suffering greatly from. I’ve been here in Austin for the duration of the storm.

If you are looking for ways to help I’ve put together a list with links of different companies, brands, and businesses going out of their way to offer support.
