6 Things I Love About You

 

This Friday marks six months of marriage for Milton and me, and it has gone by in the blink of an eye.  It has been so fun conquering life with my best friend. Since our wedding day we have traveled, bought a house, celebrated the marriages of friends, accepted new jobs (me!), and simply enjoying all of it side by side.

In celebration of our happiness I wanted to share six things I love about my husband.  Yes, sappy post…sorry not sorry.  My husband is the bomb and I want him to know just how much I appreciate him.

One

I love your continuous support. You are, by far, Cait & Co. Blog’s biggest fan.  I could not do this without you. Literally, I would have zero visual content!  Your willingness to learn how to use my camera and take photos of me is absolutely endearing.  Thank you so much for giving me the confidence to start this blog and use it as my creative outlet.  Outside of blogging, you support me in every other facet of live, and I try my hardest to reciprocate it.

Two

I love your faith. I’ll never forget when you asked me if I was “down with The Lord” when we first started dating.  Since then it has been so much fun growing in our faith together.  My favorite moment of each day is when you take my hands and pray for our family each evening before dinner. You constantly remind me that we are in good hands.

Three

I love your energy level. I realized not long ago that we have only seen ONE movie in theaters together since we started dating, but that’s because you much rather be up and at ’em than sitting for that long! If it wasn’t for you I would spend every Sunday snoozing on the couch with my cat. Instead, we’re always making the most of the beautiful Austin weather.  You constantly exude the best energy to those surrounding you. You = Good vibes only.

Four

I love your dedication to friends and family. They always come first. I admire how hard you work to maintain friendships. The love that you have for your family has spilled over onto mine.  My heart gets so full when you take the time to wake up early and spend time with  my dad whether it is just feeding cattle or loading one up to take her to the vet.

Five

I love your passion for animals and the outdoors. Our friends call us “Surf and Turf” for a reason. You’ve grown up by the gulf loving the sand, sun, birds, and seafood, and I can’t get enough of cattle, cats, and dogs.  When you took me hunting for the first time I knew this was going somewhere special.  If you could spend every minute of every day outside I know you would. And you’re the best cat dad ever!

Six

One more. I love your athleticism. You blew me away when we went to Black Swan Yoga (our first date lol!) and you could hold tree pose like a boss. I swear, you could pick up any sport and likely be good at it.  Hopefully one day we will have a mini Milton that will be just as good of an athlete as you! Like you have always said, you made it to college football (Hook ‘Em Horns!) so your son will make it to the pros!
