Call me crazy, but is anyone else already thinking about Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and all things holiday shopping?! It’s the planner inside of me wanting to get a head start on checking everyone off my list. Secret: I keep a list in the notes on my phone of gift ideas that I come up with for friends and family throughout the year. You never know when inspiration will hit you! Now that Milton and I are married (this will be our second Christmas! Time flies) my list has grown quite a bit. The more family the merrier though!

To help you prep for the holiday shopping season I have created a page titled “The Holiday Shop” on the blog. You can easily find it on the top menu! On this page you will find all of my gift-giving related posts. Expect to see things like gift guides for him and her, stocking stuffers, last minute gift ideas, and more. Is there someone on your gift list that you have no idea what to give? Lemme know in the comments and I’ll try my best to include gifts to cover everyone. Don’t worry, I will still be posting recipes for This Bitch Can Cook, because what are the holidays without FOOD?!

This year will be our first island Christmas. You can expect me to be playing Mele Kalikimaka on repeat haha! Last Christmas we were a month out from moving into our new home, so I was extremely lazy and used that as an excuse not to decorate. Bah humbug, I know. I haven’t decided how much I will decorate this year. My mom used to go all out for Christmas when my brother and I were little. I absolutely loved how she transformed our home into a life-size gingerbread house! Since we are all grown up now she doesn’t go quite as heavy with the décor, so I feel like it’s my turn to step it up! The Christmas tree I have currently is only 3 feet tall, lol. I bought it in my bachelorette days and have yet to splurge on a larger tree. I think I am holding out for a bigger space to know just how big of a tree I can convince Milton to get.
