The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will quickly be upon us. There are so many reasons to shop this sale.
I started shopping the N Sale after I started my blog. Before then, I really did not know much about it and why there was so much hype. Now I do! Nordstrom marks down new items for the upcoming season (fall/winter) during the N Sale. While it seems silly to shop jeans and long sleeves when it is still triple digit temperatures outside, it is a good opportunity to save on items for the cooler weather. Clothes aren’t the only items marked down, though. You can also find baby gear like car seats! Big win for any moms out there!

My biggest tip: become a Nordstrom cardmember. If you’re really interested in shopping the N Sale you should definitely apply for a Nordstrom credit card. I am NOT one to take out credit cards at all of my favorite stores. If I had a dollar for every time I told the cashier at Marshall’s “no thank you” when they ask if I want to get a Marshall’s card, I’d be shopping there for free. Nordstrom cardmembers gain early access to the N Sale. This is key because the most popular items often sell out during early access. Yes, most of these items restock, but how annoying to have to wait!
I always make a list of the items I’m most interested in snagging during the sale. This helps me stay focused when I get online to shop. I like to snag the things I’ve been wanting and submit that order before I start really browsing around for other fun stuff. Free shipping and free returns makes me feel less guilty about making multiple orders. I almost always return stuff! For example, two years ago I bought a super cute sweater and returned it months later because I had no business wearing a sweater in Galveston. I do not buy sweaters anymore, lol!
Download the Nordstrom app to shop the sale from anywhere. The app is very easy to navigate, and you can set up alerts for restocks and such.
