I am SO excited to share some stunning photos from our maternity shoot with Full Sail Photography.
Let me brag on Amy Bremser from Full Sail Photography for a second. Amy and I met for the first time about a year ago. It was essentially a blind date…I put on my favorite sun dress, spent extra time on my hair and make up, and met up with Amy for a blog photo shoot. The first time I shot with her was so much fun. She is super laid back, outgoing, and very easy to smile for. Amy has experience on both sides of the camera (check out some of her shots on her personal Insta), so she knows, first hand, what looks best in photos.
We really lucked out with the weather for our shoot. The sun was out, and we didn’t freeze our butts off until the very end when we took the photos on the beach. Amy does amazing work with natural light. She knew exactly how to time the photos on the beach with the sunset.
I hit the 35 week mark on the day of our maternity shoot, pushing the tail end of my 8th month. Personally, I did not want to wait until I was in my 9th month to take maternity photos. I knew I would be busy getting the last things finished for baby’s arrival, and there is no need to add any unnecessary stress.
My dress is from, can you guess, PinkBlush Maternity. This is the same online boutique that I purchased my hot pink shower dress from (deets in this post). Since this dress is fitted in the bust, I sized up to a medium. I am extremely pleased with the fit. The length is a hair long for me, but I like how it turned out in the photos. I actually wore this dress to another shower of mine with a short heel (1.5 inches) and the length was just fine.
