Maternity swimsuits, a bridge I was hoping to never cross but seems unavoidable at this point. I never needed a maternity swimsuit when I was pregnant with Caroline (I found out in July and had her in February). With a due date of June 4th, and living on an island, I probably will not be able to avoid it this time around.
I have yet to actually purchase a maternity swim suit, but you know I have been browsing them like crazy. Luckily, maternity swim has come a long way over the years. I cannot say I’m a big fan of the tankini look, or the swimsuit skirt/dress look. It is easy to find sensible yet cute one pieces, and even two pieces with good coverage.
Like any clothes, you can spend as much as you want on maternity swimsuits. Personally, I can’t imagine spending a large amount on something you will not wear much. The suits I’m sharing today range from $20 to $50.
