Christmas is just days away, and I hope you’ve had a swift and easy time gathering gifts to give to all of your loved ones this season. I’m sharing my Christmas list just for fun. I love making these gift collages, and this is one way to squeeze another one in before Christmas comes and goes.
I finished wrapping all of our Christmas gifts last night (quite a victory in my book) including my own. I had Milton put all of my gifts in boxes and told him I would do the wrapping. He appreciated it, and I honestly don’t mind doing it. Confession: I put the biggest bows on my own boxes (makes me sound like a brat, I know).
Last year I went to Target and Home Goods after the 25th to stock up on wrapping paper and other decor at discounted prices, the only way to do it in my opinion. I found a really cute green and red plaid wrapping paper and bought two big rolls. The best part about this wrapping paper…the grid on the underside of it. I think all wrapping paper should have this grid! It makes measuring the paper and cutting it so much easier! Each present got a bow this year. Looking back, I probably should have waited to put the bows on because now we have to put all of these gifts in the car for a five hour drive, and there will definitely be some smushed bows by the end of it. Oh well! At the end of the day no one is going to care what their presents look like. I’m just happy to take this large pregnant belly home to my parents house to relax on the couch and visit with the cows. There were at least three new calves born in the last few weeks. Watch my stories in the coming days because I’m sure I’ll be sharing pics of their fluffy faces.
On to my Christmas list. Once I completed this collage I realized that leggings are life now considering I asked for at least two pairs. I also have some really functional gifts like the Pottery Barn water glasses, and this amazing Dyson Vacuum. I’ve actually already been using the new vacuum. We bought it on Black Friday and I have been loving it so far!
