Valentino Dupes

“Love your sandals!” “Thanks! They’re fake.” Literally me when someone comments on my Valentino dupes. I’ve got no shame in my dupe game. This is my second pair of Valentino dupes, and I’m pleased with both purchases. I’ve got no shame in my dupe game. This is my second pair of Valentino dupes, and I’m pleased with both purchases.

There are a lot of designer dupes on the market. Some are priced so cheap you know it is not a quality dupe. Others are priced a little higher, and might be worth the purchase. I thought I would share a review of my Valentino dupes with some good pictures to help anyone on the fence.

Sizing

I went up a half size, and I wish I had gone up a full size. I’m an 8.5 now (thanks, Caroline) and I ordered a 9 in this shoe. If I could go back I would definitely order the 9.5. In the picture below they look like they’re the perfect size, but the foot spreads when standing so my heel is right at the edge. So size up a full size.

Details

This might be a picky detail, but there are more studs on the dupe than on the real Valentino sandal. I would imagine only a trained eye or actual owner of Valentino’s would notice this. I didn’t notice this until I put pictures of the two side-by-side and compare them.

Quality

The quality of these dupes are actually pretty good quality considering they cost about $40 (depending on the color). I have the studded heels by the same brand and they have treated me very well. I’ve worn them to many weddings and cut a rug on many dance floors in them. I am really pleased with the quality of the sandal. I am probably going to wear them like crazy this summer. Stay tuned to see how they hold up.

Shipping

Big downfall on these shoes is how long they take to ship. I ordered my sandals on March 15th and got them in the mail on May 1st. If you want these for this summer I hope you ordered them yesterday. They definitely came from China by the looks of the shipping details. When they arrived the box was wrapped in gray plastic with tons of packing tap around it, making it look like someone was smuggling drugs in it.
