We are finally defrosting down here on the island. It was a crazy cold week, but the snow days gave me more time with Milton at home this week. There are so many great sales popping up right now. This time of year most retailers are trying to get rid of their winter stock in order to gear up for warmer spring weather. It is a great time to get basic sweaters and good outerwear for future colder weather. Let’s be honest though, with the way this weather has been acting it could stay cold for another month or two.

First night at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I decided to dress in layers because it was supposed to be in the 40s.
Our second night at the FWSSR. Milton spoiled me with my new Resistol hat. I’ll be heading back to the rodeo soon and I’ll definitely be wearing it again. My jacket is Double D Ranch, and was given to me by Milton’s aunt. I loved stepping up my western game. I was unable to link the hat and jacket, but I’ve linked a similar leather jacket below.
Earlier this week I killed some time by shopping around the historic Strand district of Galveston. I found this Free People top at Tangerine Boutique on Post Office Street. They carry some of my favorite brands and have such a cute shop. If you’re ever on the island I suggest stopping by.
