Once I announced my pregnancy I was so excited to style my bump and browse cute maternity clothes. Cut to when I started growing and showing, and I realize I have no idea how to dress my new body. I desperately needed some maternity style inspiration!

I instantly turned to Pinterest and other style bloggers for maternity style inspo, and made a new board called “Maternity Style“. I bet you didn’t see that one coming, lol. Thank God for Pinterest, right? There are so many stylish mommas out there and Pinterest makes it so easy to find them all.
Luckily, so many of my favorite bloggers have either been pregnant recently or are currently pregnant. This has made it easy to incorporate current styles that I already have in my closet, or shop styles available in stores right now. My biggest thing so far has been being able to extend the wardrobe I already have. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on specific maternity clothes that I will only wear for a few months out of the year. Granted, I have definitely splurged on a couple of key items like these maternity jeans and these leggings, but I pair these bottoms with long tops that I already own.

Ok, when is she not style goals?! She always looks so fabulous, and I love how she dressed her bump when she was pregnant with her little boy. I noticed she wore a lot of pieces, mostly tops, by Free People. Their stuff is super flow and maternity friendly. I don’t mind buying tops from this brand during my pregnancy because I know I will wear them later.
Cara Van Brocklin
Another blogger that always looks drop dead gorgeous. In her last pregnancy she shared a lot of pics in fitted dresses with a jacket, kimono, or cardigan. I love that women are embracing their bumps and wearing more fitted outfits. I’m proud of this growing baby belly.
Ashlee Nichols
Ashlee is a fellow Texas gal and is currently pregnant. I find her style to be realistic and attainable. Her looks fit more of my every day style.
